Morning everyone,
Sun is shining in Northampton at last!
I may need to pop to Lidl for a few essentials tonight but will try and keep to under £10 as I've got meals planned to last for the next 6 evenings.
Think that will be it for today - what will you be spending?

hi all,
I have finally exhausted my storecupboard ingredients (who knew I had so much pasta??) and so today I am going to go for a big monthly stock up. The budget is £40, I am only taking that in cash with me so I cannot overspend.Saving for an early retirement!0 -
Hi,
I'm having a no spend day today - in fact, quite the opposite. I'm paying the Bank a long-awaited visit to tell them i will be closing my account with them. :rotfl: Now im a DFW I can no longer justify paying their extortionate rate on my overdraft! (often maxxed out at £1500!)
I am now in a position where i can repay the overdraft in full (OH received a bonus this month)and can start afresh with a new Bank - what a brill feeling!:jExperience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

Was hoping to have a no spend day, but woke up late for work and I have no lunch, so I may have to buy something to eat if I'm starving!
I'm such a lazy bones!;)0 -
Park and picnic with the children. Might run to 50p each at the local sweet shop. Then swimming tonight but we're members at the gym and have gone every day this half term which has already been paid for by direct debit. I'm doing a spread sheet this month of how much we use it so I can then decide if we're really getting our moneys worth.January budget

We're going out to shop for a car roof top box, apart from Halfords and Ebay there doesn't seem many other places that sell them. Ebay sells them for local pick up and I haven't seen any selling in the last couple of months that are near enough to us so I guess it will be Halfords today.Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

well done mrs (no)money (we should call you mrs money now!:T ). i know exactly the feeling, when you call them or go in and say, 'hey! i don't want you anymore'. all of a sudden, they get all remorseful and want to move heaven and earth to give you stuff!! you stick to your guns, there's loads of banks giving cash for joining and some of them are even giving a 0% on overdraft for 12 months - not that i would encourage you to get an overdraft.:money:
as for me, i'm off to find the butchers today as we've all run out of meat. i don't know where i'll be able to find one, but i'll have a walk around my neighbourhood, maybe i can find something.
hope everybody's having a great day!!MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)

Morning everyone.
I've a few things to post for ebay, apart from that I'm staying well away from the shops today and keeping my fingers crossed for a no spend day ahead.
