    my mate went to the public meeting over his £40K, the directors didnt turn up....and havent assisted the IP with investigations, the Mds had been taking £3000 a month wages (both the husband and the wife!)

    in my case the MD failed to provide all the bank accounts/details

    fraud? - yes, proveable? - probably not he resigned 3 days b4 the shoot hit the fan

    resigning 3 days before - yes, laughable. One f the Dirs in my/this case, also resigned 5 days before.

    A lot of companies go bust through no fault of their own , in fact probably the majority do . HMRC can impose restrictions if they have owed vat i believe in the way of huge security deposits

    the fact that my man is also the director of the parent Coy that has failed.. that makes no difference ? I suppose they are two seperate Ltd Coys and that is that. Though what does 'parent Coy' actually mean. I mean, why 'link' them like that ?

    what does 'security deposit' actually mean ? They have to loadge a sum of £ with IR/vat people ? Surely this negates the benefit of going bust
