    Yes, I can't understand it either. It doesn't seem to have done anything similar in the past. Is it a correction or is it a load of b0ll0x?

    It has done this loads of times. A 2-3% correction is nothing to get squeamish about. I read elsewhere that the average 2% movement occurs once a month - it's just that they seem to come along at once.

    The stock market is a long-term investment. If uyou have either a high yield portfolio or a monthly-fed tracker (to take advantage of pound-cost averaging), then daily share prices shouldn't worry you.

    I think you're mixing your white goods ... as well as your metaphors? It won't be getting much froth out if you're washing in the tumble drier ??;)
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

    If I put too much stuff in my tumble drier it stops working till I take some out...
