Your link doesn't work for me but this one does :

All links should be pigsback.com and not co.uk
When you sign into pigsback next, try using the .com link : http://www.pigsback.com/default.asp

Nice extra 10 points though. Good spot and welcome to the pb thread

Technically it doesn't actually matter if its .co.uk, .com or any others. If the domain is still pointing to the right server, and Pigsback aren't stopping it, there is no harm

Did not see that anywhere on the quiz, the options where 'Pound, Euro, Punt'.
I would hope that Pigsback would have more sense than that!

I definatley saw potatoes as an option for an answer. Please forward your vicious judgment onto th pigsback if you feel that way

I just called Darragh's phone number to speak to him about some missing points problems and was told he does not work for Pigsback anymore.

I wonder if I should check in with the office to see if my P45 has been delivered early or unexpectedly!

Hello! No, I am still employed by Pigsback.com AND still on holidays! I think Catflap (hello sir!) may have been told I'm not there as I'm not working with the UK team as closely at the moment (due to my holidays). I am taking a much needed break at the moment, so thank you all for the messages of support but don't worry - if and when there's any news I think I should share, I'll let you know! ;)

Meanwhile, Rachel, Karolina and Lynn are at postmaster@pigsback.com to help with any queries you may have.

Well done to all who have won competitions and thanks to those who are posting answers to questions about the site - shows that I'm not really needed at all!

When I'm properly back from holidays I'll come and say hi again, but for now, "the hills are ali-i-i-ive..."

Best wishes to all. Enjoy the sunshine!

Well, I am glad to hear that, Perhaps I should have realised it was somebody other than yourself I was dealing with and the chance of them responding with any degree of accuracy was unlikely.

Sorry to all with the obviously bum information.

Why can't we all just get along:confused:

I'm Irish and I took no offense at all to it:rotfl:

Well said. Let's all just remember that:

    a) It was Pigsback who put that answer up - people here only commented on what they had (originally) included as an answer.

    b) Pigsback is an Irish company for goodness sake, so surely they can put whatever they like in their quizzes about Ireland.

    c) It was on the West Ireland tourism page for godness sake, etc, etc...

If you are so offended by "Irish jokes" Mr X, even when they are put into print by anyone Irish, may I strongly recommend you avoid the stand up comic catalogue of Paddy Kielty (whose father was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries as it happens.)

For anyone else, do re-visit them - you can almost forgive Patrick for some of his TV presenter slots such as Celebrity Love Island...

Anyway - let's move on everyone - LOVE & PEACE ON THE PIGSBACK THREAD!

  • I'm pretty sure it was potatoe this morning as well, maybe people complained and they changed it.

I thought it said potato, too. I'm amazed that anyone found it offensive considering the source - Pigsback being an Irish company, after all. ;)

    Two thoughts:

    1) The hills are alive? He's not on the island they film "Lost" on, is he?

    2) Keep clear of the singing nuns!!!!!
