I don't remember seeing an expiry date on the vouchers, so there's no harm in claiming them as soon as you have enough points and stuffing them under your mattress til Christmas

Well that was odd,

Just ordered a voucher and it took about 10 mins for my validation code to come through, then when I entered it I got the message "validation code has expired" There was an option to get a new validation code and that one came through almost immediatly and was accepted!
