Misrepresentation by burglar alarm company

Does anyone there ever been misrepresented by the Locked Up Monitored Security Ltd? I paid a deposit for a burglar alarm with police response at Ideal Home exhibition but two days later I realised that the rep mis-sold me the product in which the company does not registered for the police response. I immediately cancelled the order and asked for the refund of the deposit (as the rep also told me there was a 7 days cooling off period). Unfortunately the police response and the cooling off period was not put in writing. I have written to the company many times even threatened court but the company insisted that the deposit was for their net loss of profit resulting directly from the default. It looks like I have to take the company to Small Claim court. I was told that I was not the first victim... so if you had bad experience with the same company, I would like to hear how you dealt with the company.....

Police respone, Ha Ha ha. Anyone down the local Dog and Duck will tell yer that it is about 20 mins for the bizzies to get there, and so you have a free runb for about 15 minutes. And the alarm signifies the house to rob.
Do as Fred does, by smaller house next to big un, and watch their gear fly out of the window, not yours!0
