If you have a look at the La Redoute and Empire Stores online they both sometimes have clothes that you can order for different child body shapes. La redoute has kids jeans for slim fit, curvy fit etc and Empire have clothes which are have an X next the size( I think if memory serves me right) the clothes are the normal length but just a bit more generous.0

my oh says that she has always for as long as she can remember had a problem with clothes it is only now she has a bit of variety but even now she can't have as much choice as everyone else for reasonable prices. she is now 6ft ish. She has lost loads of weight recently now a size 16 and a size 7 foot (small for height) and is so pleased that she can now sometimes buy clothes at a reasonable price in a 'normal' shop but it is a rarity as they tend to think taller people are going to be waifs and no larger than a size 12!! they are also not quite long enough as their long length is 31" or at best 33" inside leg which is not quite long enough for her! She tends to buy more than one if she finds something she likes long enough and at a reasonable price. Peacocks do a reasonable range at reasonable prices and i am sure the length would be ok but she says she was in a size 12 adult clothes by the time she went to secondary school and she was not 6 ft til approx 18 years old. She has lots of curves and has had since she hit puberty!! The says that for her the best place when she was younger for clothes was marks and spencers, etam was another place and asdas clothes are very generous with their sizes. My stepson (her son) has a similar problem but he is too skinny he is 11 years old now need aged 14/15 clothes length size 7 in shoes. He is a good weight for his height but unfortunately he can only wear clothes with elasticated waists (even they are to loose sometimes) or if you are lucky you they sometimes put belts on but that is such a rarity we had to have one specially made to fit!!(got it abroad thankfully so cheap).
As an adult dorothy perkins do a pretty good range considering in their tall section and go up to i think a size 20...look in the sales and via internet lots of online discount codes available. Also there is long tall sally but although they do fab clothes the prices are outrageous!!! And if you get the opportunity to go to the states they are great for choice size and all ages...they have everyone catered for but of course there is the expense involved with that.
As a suggestion are skirts an option? they tend to be easier to fit length wise and not a problem if bigger on tops of legs especially. she had trouble finding trousers that would fit and never wore trousers really as a kid unless tracksuit type as she is a classic pear shape just a 6ft one!!!! lol She wishes you all the luck and she knows exactly how your daughter will probably be feeling her only sibling was a half brother who she hardly saw and he is now 6ft 8" and a size 14foot but you don't have the 'competition' with a boy so much....0 -
BTW lots of kids shoes in the next directory go upto a size 7 (starting from a small 9-10 I think so definitely age appropriate) and I think they tend to be quite generous width wise.0

Do the clothes have to be new? If not and price is an issue, then perhaps Ebay is the way to go? Then even if something doesn't fit once you get it, you could at least sell it on....I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
