I have quite enjoyed this 3d week. Brought back alot of memeories, and me and OH had a laugh sitting and watching Friday 13th pt3 in 3d. Like being a teen again rofl.

There was some good effects on that derren brown thing, loved the confetti which looked like it was in the room with us.

Bit of a novelty value and DD1 (aged 6) loved Hannah montana in 3d. Kept her quiet and still for over an hour. Now thats priceless :T.

  • Anyone know where I can still get a couple of pairs of these please ? Tried several branches of Sainsburys last week but no joy so any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers and a very Merry Christmas to you all x
  • Hello,

I'd also like 2 pairs of glasses if anyone has any spares? Willing to pay postage. Many thanks :D
  • I totally agree with you there. People taking glasses that they are not entitled to is vile! I will not pay them my money and I suggest everyone boycott them like the plague. I missed the whole week as a result of not being able to get hold of a pair. I wanted TWO pairs for us to watch at home, not to sell on the internet. I hope these people suffer bad karma.

Hey guys! I really need a pair of these glasses too. I tried Sainsburys but my local store ran out within a matter of hours. Apparently several individuals came in on the first day and just raided the bins. It's a shame to see that people have taken advantage and are profiting by selling the glasses on eBay (one particular user was selling over 200 pairs! - I'd rather not have to give them my money.)

If anyone can send me a pair I'd be eternally grateful, and of course will pass them on to the next person when I'm done :)
  • PS: Can I have them please? ;)

I got double vision on a lot of what I saw and not really getting any 3d effects from it.

And on the subject of avatar, I saw some program saying theres supposed to be some special cinema somewhere that theyve made a screen that goes 360 degrees around you, wonder where that actually is as that would be interesting to watch.

I managed to nearly poke my eye out by attempting to put on the glasses one-handed. This resulted in several days of excruciating pain before I could easily watch the 3D programmes I'd recorded.

What a waste of effort. Colour was dreadful, 3D effect was erratic and unexciting at best, and the content was mostly oh-so-boring.
  • Hi,

if you still wanting 3D glasses go to

    http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.3d%20glasses

they are very cheap, but may take about a week to come
  • I've tried posting on freecycle, thinking that would be they best way to get some...asked all my friends, who has them all?...no one I know! I am wondering where there all went..I am saving my recorded programmes in hope some one will help me out...please
