    And Mrs S,

Maybe the time has come to get some of those clothes and shoes off to new homes courtesy of ebay? ;)

If you pop up an SOA we'll see what we can look at elsewhere to save you even more! Youll be out of debt in no time lol
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Lynz, definitely eBay- I have a few things in mind which will sell no problem.

My SOA is further up the page and hope it makes sense. You've all been very kind and welcoming!

  • Welcome aboard mrs sparkle. You've had some great suggestions so nothing to add here. Only welcome aboard.
I know what you mean about the bottle of wine. We used to have a nice bottle after the kids had gone to bed. Tried a cheaper one but lambrini's not for me I am afraid. So now just one nice bottle a week and thats on our dvd night (replaces our weekly trip to the cinema).

I just remembered one piece of advice!!!
check out the moneysaving Old Style board for other ways to cut back on your meals and household stuff..... its a mine of information.

Blimey, you're good to limit yourself to one bottle a week! I don't think I can manage that but I will certainly cut down to 2 or 3 over the course of the weekend. It's got to be good for the figure too!

Does the Threshers near you have a 3 for price of 2 offer on? It can work out cheaper than the supermarket for the better wines.

Aw thanks hun, and yes it does have the 3 for 2 offer, but I've developed a taste for Tesco's South African table red for £2.86 a bottle- bargain!
