Hi experts.
My IE6.0 stopped working properly. Sometimes when starting it I get the message (small window with the only 'OK' button):
"Internet Explorer Compatibility mode
This is being run in compatibility mode and not all features are enabled."
Also I have some problems with accessing some websites and all formatting buttons and smiles stopped working when posting on this website.
I am on LAN if this makes any difference.
Any ideas?

It may be a setting in the shortcut. Right click on the icon you use to launch Internet Explorer and choose Properties. If it's a shortcut there will be a tab labelled Compatibility. Click on that and, if Compatibility Mode is checked, uncheck it. OK that then start IE and see what happens.
Hope this helps out.

Thank you. There is no anything about compatibility in my 'Shortcut' tab.
After hitting Ctrl+F5 numerous times MSE site started working(keep my fingers crossed). Still having some problems with other sites, for example, msn-Hotmail.

What happens if you use a different browser (such as Firefox)? Is your trouble only apparent in IE?0
