    It would have indeed helped if the initial post was made clearer in the first place as to why a specific drive was needed...
  • Just to let you know (all these months later!) I got the refund from my credit card company without any fuss at all. And to this day I haven't heard from EPCBUYER.

    I got a hard drive from eBay and now have a wonderful 100-hour capacity Sky+!

    What drive did you end up using as I am thinking of doing a similar upgrade.

    I actually agreed with the ''idiot'' comment. One, he needs a specific model and after all this guy has gone through for someone to come out and say ''hey, why didnt you just keep it, you dimwit?''.

    Its specific, so he needs the model he was promised when he bought it. Make sure you keep a copy of the email with the relevant date, time, etc info.
    Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
    call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
    Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"
