Daughter now too upset to ring solicitor as they put the phone down on her after heated argument.FATHER IS NOT DEAD YET BUT IN HOSPICE ON (LIVERPOOL PATH)which is being allowed to die peacefully with only neccessery care.Daughter is in will but not as executor

The solicitor has to ensure there's no dispute before releasing the residual funds and I believe follow laid-down procedures which have to be followed precisely.

My uncle's solicitor produced a most detailed final statement showing all receipts and deductions and the amount the smaller beneficiaries had received. Also the upfront payments and balance yet to be paid to the residual beneficiaries.

As there was no dispute the balance was paid quite quickly. However a few weeks/months later I received a letter and further cheque as one of the deductions turned out to be less than anticipated. It also included interest.
