I ordered a TV from this company on the 14th of October, Item was quoted as in stock, and delivery stated to be 3-5 days. They took the money from my account pretty much straight away...and I am still waiting for my TV. They made no effort to contact me about details of stock, I had to contact them myself to find out where my order was. Customer service did not seem to know what they were doing as everytime I called them the answer would be "in the next few days" and of course nothing arrived. I know of atleast 3 or 4 other people who are currently in the exact same situation.

Are they allowed to take the money straight away, without knowing when or even if they will get the item back in stock? Surely they should wait and see when stock is arriving and give a clear timeframe, rather than saying "umm I don't know"

Unfortunately I didn't read reviews of the company before my purchase, a lot of which were very with some people not getting their item or even a refund when cancelling their order!

they are now in liquidation and they have £456 of my money, i paid by maestro debit, which gives me no chargeback

if you paid by visa debit or credit card, you have a good change
