Final response letter - help needed

Hi
I need some help in wording a letter. Today I have received a final response from Freedom Finance regarding my complaint re. mis-selling. They have denied the mis-selling of the policy but have offered a goodwill payment anyway of £1000 which is more than I expected after just one letter. To my mind they wouldn't have offered this without good reason. Their response was quite cleverly worded and dodged around some of the issues I raised. I therefore want to pursue the matter further and need to do a mix of Martin's second letter (the lender offered settlement/denied mis-selling bits). Has anyone got any templates for this kind of situation?
Thanks in advance.
Jo

I would word this one yourself and just state you are unhappy with their offer and expected it to be in line with the FOS for misselling which would put you into the postion as if you never had the PPI and 8% statutory interest on top. Then I would state that you are going to go to the FOS if they do not up their offer within the next 14 days. Its a risk but to me they would not offer anything if they were not at any fault whatsoever.Hi

Thanks. Like you say I don't think they would have offered such an amount if they were not at fault and I'm really surprised that they've offered anything at all in the first instance so I'm feeling quite positive about it. I'm actually quite excited!0
