Door is stuck - jammed tight - any solutions?

the door with mastic on it - it's weatherproof mastic so really tough. I manged to pick most of it out, but have now discovered that they have put it along the door frame where the front of the door meets it when closed - and then shut the door - effectively gluing it shut. It's impossibel to pick out as the gap here is too narrow... Does anyone have any good ideas? Maybe there's a substance that can disolve mastic?0
