It seems like it is just another way for a big corporation to make money out of us. Okay years ago postage cost were a bit steep, but in the recent years the costs have been pretty fair.
I just went to sell some vinyls that I consider classic house (RARE) and they are telling me the max I can put on the postage cost is £0.00.

I am not being nasty when I say this but if you don't like it then you don't have to sell them on Ebay. If you have loads have you thought about car boot sale or getting a stall for a day at a market? Or trying a specialist music shop that may buy the lot of you.
Also remember everyone on Ebay will be in the same boat as you when selling them. But like I said no-one is forcing you to sell them on Ebay but you will probably get the best price this way.0 -

But Ebay are a BUSINESS, and that's how businesses work...
Ebay have a HUGE amount of buyers due to their tight rules and regulations on sellers.
You could always consider selling elsewhere?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
:wall::wall:This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

Free P&P threads are the new Excessive P&P threads, which were the new feedback first threads.
I seem to remember quite a few people predicting the problems of free p&p on the numerous excessive P&P threads...<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

You could always go on STRIKE0 -
Well you don't claim to be 'disgusting'! I think Ebay seller strikes are the most amusing thing, I'm not sure any buyers have ever noticed them. I did inadvertently take part in one a few years ago when I went on holiday.stevew8975 wrote: »I find threads like that are immensely satisfying for the self-esteem. No matter how bad things are, at least I'm not that stupid!!
It constantly puzzles me that a company as young as Ebay is considered by some to be a public domain by some sellers. It says a lot for its success and its standing that it is so vehemently attacked and defended after just over ten years in existence..0 -
A great quote from that thread, and something I had never considered until now...Inclusive P+P wouldn't have been such a big deal if they had introduced free sub 99p auctions after it instead of before.
As it is, you can bleat on about morals, principles, whatever BS you like, but at least be honest- you are as greedy as ebay are and are just sore because you have to pay 15p.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
