Double Dell delivery

I ordered a computer from Dell to my home address, and within 2 hours of placing the order I rang up to change the delivery address to work. They said this would be done (I have four emails stating as much). Then a week later I got a text confirming my delivery would be the next day. I rang them to check it would be delivered to work, they said no it would go to my house – they have to try to deliver it twice to the original address before it gets sent back to the depot. Anyway, we got into a to-and-fro about all this and eventually they agreed it would be sent to work, but with another week's delay. The next day we took delivery at the house (luckily my girlfriend was in)!
Now another laptop has been delivered to my work address, and I've only been charged once! It was signed for by the courier room. What, strictly speaking, should I do, and (cheekily) can I keep the computer?! Is it up to Dell to identify the error and request the machine back? What, in a nutshell, are my rights?

Get in touch with Dell to arrange a pick up from your work address..Simple"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

This is not a question of rights. It's a question of right - do the right thing. I don't think this needs spelling out, it's fairly obvious.0

I will "do the right thing" and send it back, but maybe I should be more specific: I am inquiring whether I can be made to pay for this return (I don't think I should have to pay for their error), and what to do if they never do request the item's return? Is there a time period after which the item does become mine?0 -
no,contact Dell and ask them what they are going to do to collect their laptop
depending on whats easiest for you either wait for their courier or get them to pay you the costs
you shouldnt be out of pocket.
IIRC they have 6 months from you notifying them to collect0 -
Whatever you do dont try and use it or ignore it til they contact you otherwise they will claim acceptance of both and try and bill your card.
You might eventually get it back but it will be a lot of hassle.0 -
They cannot charge you for it as you ordered one item not two.
It does remain their property for 6 years during which time you are a bailee in legal terms and must take reasonable care of it.0
