My first post - Save on MOTs in Manchester

Hello,
This is my first post here on MoneySavers. I was recommended the site by a friend and already I have surpassed his savings in just a few weeks by reading the articles and acting on all the great tips and information !
I have already saved by dialling lo-cost 1899 and 18185 numbers, knocked my car insurance down from £43 to £23 a month and got a free eye test worth £25.
Anyway my first tip/information is that in Manchester you can get a council MOT service for £41.30. I saw on the MOT article that Manchester was not on the list of council MOTs so I called around and found the service. Details are here:
