Dermalogica products...

  • I know that this is an older thread, but I just wanted to clarify that Dermalogica isn't owned by anyone. From their website:

Dermalogica is a privately owned company (meaning we are not owned by a beauty conglomerate, holding company or financiers) driven first by education and research. We take pride in being true pioneers in the industry, growing from a modest store-front in Marina del Rey to the now 145,000 square foot Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles (and locations worldwide in close to 50 countries) -- never wavering on our initial vision of skin health and the skin health professional.

It's just that when I read this thread I was very disappointed to read that Dermalogica was owned by Estee Lauder, because EL recently shut down one of my other favourite skincare company (Prescriptives). So I checked their website and wanted to put that information here to prevent confusion.

I've only just started using Dermalogica products about a month ago, but I would definitely recommend the Sensitized Skin kit (about £15) for anyone and any skin type over the winter! It's absolutely amazing. I usually use Liz Earle but needed something extra over the winter as my skin was feeling dry and clogged up (I use the Liz Earle Superskin and dry moisturizers, but neither wasn't absorbing the way it should). I think that I will continue to rotate between Dermalogica and Liz Earle in the future - they're both fantastic, very gentle and comforting products.
