  • Got my free bar of Milka in Tesco yesterday - the girl on the checkout seemed totally confused at first but I still got it! A 100g bar is bigger than I expected it to look.

    Yumptious.
  • I took my voucher to my local co-op, where it was accepted. However it tasted a bit old, and sure enough the best before was "06.07.09". Can I complain to Milka?

I would complain to the manager of the Co-op. It's up to them to ensure the goods are in date! I would have thought you would at least get a replacement.

I'm surprised it tasted odd - chocolate is usually fine WELL past its bbdate (I've still got some Roses left from last Christmas and also some Toblerone - both are at least 6 months out of date and they taste absolutely fine). I believe that some manufacturers just melt down and reprocess out of date chocolate.

Maybe yours had been left in the sun or in a damp place

I got my free Milka last week and it was delicious so the free offer worked as I paid for a bar this week :T
  • Thats because it's cheap rubbish full of preservatives.
