I got a promo offer last year at the NEC bike show for signing up £95 for roadside, relay and joint membership with the wife which I think is usually about £135/140.
Just got my renewal through, they wanted £135, a 2 min phone call to cancel it and they've given me a 25% discount for the same cover.
I know it's still not the cheapest, but I won't go with anyone else.
Just letting anyone about to renew to barter and you will get it cheaper. If you don't try ringing back another day, you might get someone nicer!

I'm with the aa, my gran bought it for me for xmas couple of years ago. I decided to pay for it myself this year and I called them because it was stupidly expensive.....first year was only £70, can't remember how much second year was but this time they wanted £130-140! I called them and asked for it cheaper. They had a look and said that as i'd only ever called them out the once since I first got the membership they could knock off £60. Better than nothing!!0
