25p x 31 days = £7.75
How sure are you they didnt say 'around 25p per day' ?
have to say this sounds like a reasonable explanation.
25p x 30 days (average month) = £7.50
add VAT @ 17.5% (what it would have been then) = £1.31
total £8.81 per month
I've never heard of any insurance being 25p per month, how would they make any money on that? Has to have been 25p per day...
Think you may have made a mistake OP0 -

This is my second letter to your store since my original letter was ignored. "
In nearly two years this is only the second letter you've written ?0 -

I don't think any of them would have bothered to strip VAT out of it!
And I must agree with P00hsticks, two letters in two years is barely enough for such an urgent issue.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -

Was merely trying to show that it kind of makes sense it would have been 25p a day not a month, give or take the VAT :rolleyes:0 -
As far as i'm aware if the agreement isn't signed the customer keeps the goods, the store foots the full bill for the goods + interest to HFC.
EDIT - And obviously the customer pays nothing.
Thanks Jack, you're the only person on here who's actually tried to help with this issue rather than being critical of my grammer or insisting that I've made a mistake or questioned why it's taken so long to sort this out.
I've tried until I'm blue in the face with this issue and asked for advice on next steps and nobody has provided anything useful.0 -

If you can't be helpful, please don't comment.
For information I've sent 8 emails and made so many phone calls I've lost count. It's not for the want of trying.0 -
This would be fine, except for the fact it was said, in no uncertain terms "PER MONTH".have to say this sounds like a reasonable explanation.

I take it I am within my rights to ask HFC for the signed copy of the agreement that came from PC world?
And if they can't...
Thank you for your comments. Interesting.Though HFC have your bank details and can take payment, I would imagine that as they can't provide you with a signed copy of the agreement, then they can't enforce it. But I don't know much about annulling credit agreements, you'd need to ask someone on here who does.0 -
Sammiedoodle, your attitude really doesn't help. In fact, you're a pain in the !!!.
Were you there in the shop? Do you have anything helpful to say? No.
FYI..
I've just had a full refund for the credit agreement and a full apology from the shop. The member of staff has been disciplined. The credit file is fixed.
What a shame forums aren't moderated to stop retards like yourself having a pop whenever they feel like it.0
