Hi I was told to come here for advice.
I am currently with Homecall who charge me £25.00 + Vat for phone and broadband.
My average monthly bill is £45.00 and I really need to get that down. I have free calls to Landlines off peak but I have t mainly call mobiles
Any suggestions Please

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Surely your calls should all be included in the £6.25/month Homecall Anytime package and you shouldn't have call charges of that sort of size?
For calls to mobiles, using one of the dial-through providers listed in the MSE UK Callchecker will reduce your call costs considerably (3p per minute peak is possible).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Sorry to but in, I think he has broadband as well as phones from Homecall, £6.25 only seems to cover calls.0
