is it a con? i know i sign up for loads of things and cant remember if i entered anything like this. i think its a scam.

    i think i remember somthing about these dodg emails going around, you may find when you call the number you will be automaticaly charged a lump sum of money, we had a similar one working round here but it was a postal thing i.e we have a parcel for you please call ******** and when people did they were being charged £15 to their phone bill if in doubt call trading standards they will know if there is anything odd going around

    thanks. i wont bother.

    another ive received that worries me is one saying ive used someones credit card and theyve done a chargeback on it and i am now in serious trouble! i take it i ignore such buffoonery as i only ever use my own card, im no fraudster.

    It is a con in as much as you will be asked for a "processing fee" before you get your prize. Of course you will never get this money, as there is no lottery and no prizes. Forget the urban myth about being saddled with a huge phone bill. The most you will be charged on any premium line is £1.50 a minute. All those stories going around saying that as soon as you dial the number you will be charged £15 is a load of hogwash. This has been discussed several times on this forum

    not always a scam this one, we recieved a letter from our local trading standards a few weeks ago as our area was being targeted..believe it or not its up to you:confused:
