Thanks so much for that gettingready. I had a wonderful dog sitter in Seven Kings, but unfortunately she died. I've been looking for a replacement.

Peachyprice - oh, you are just down the road from us... :)

Both girls are Polish, they both have a lot of experience with all dogs from both back home (involved with various rescues) and from here.

Gosia has been walking Zara for me for over a year now and Zara has never been happier, both highly recommened.....

I also have an excellent groomer in South Woodford if you are interested - Zara falls asleep under the hairdryer...so relaxed with the lady :)

Used to use one at Pets at Home in Beckton when I got Zara first and.. they burnt her skin.... Found this lady (by recommendaton) and never looked back, she works from home, has the whole set up and adores dogs :)

PM me if you want a number ...
  • Hi, would just like to say that I am a home boarder in Cardiff and we are not all the same. Helen from Home From Home and myself (Shampooch Groomers/Home Boarding) are two of the only ones to be licensed with the council. If you are using a home boarder you must make sure they are fully insured and registered with the council, not many are. The council will only license you once their vet has been to the premises to make sure it is dog friendly and dog safe.A lot of people think looking after or walking dogs is an easy way to make money in the current climate but have not covered themselves for any accidents or dangerous situations which may arise. A boarder that really cares and is doing their job properly will have all the paperwork that you would need to see to feel assured that your dog is in safe hands.

I'm also in need of a homeboarder for my dog in Sept. We are getting married and so sadly pooch can't come with us but I can't bear the thought of him in kennels. Has anyone got a good home boarding company/individual they can suggest for the Bristol or Bath area?

  • Hi Pink Peach, if you would be willing to meet me part of the way then he would be welcome to come to me. My website is shampoochgroomers.com and my email address is on there.
