Another bathroom tiling quote - about right?

havent used this part of the site before but worth a shot...I've had a quote from an excellent tiler i've used before, he's quoted for the following:

-remove old 3m ceramic floor tiles (stuck to floorboards with cement)
-remove 10m wall tiles
-re-tile same with large porcelain tiles (10m & 3m)
-repair a very dodgy loo (badly fitted first time round so the pipes and seals have gone & its been leaking badly)
-box in end of bath and tile
-take away old tiles and rubbish

he's quoted £760 to include grout, even out the walls and to deal with any problems they encounter (so i just have to buy the tiles...and the porcelain sealant too probably)

..the price also includes him removing and re-fitting the sink, wc and a wall mounted electric shower as he wants everything tiled behind not around esp as they're quite large (40x40) tiles

...anyone had similar work done think this price sounds good for what's included? the tiles are £24 per sqm and i can use his 10% discount at the shop on top, i have no idea what i paid him before just remember he did a great job

thanks for any opinions :)
R :)

I think it depends where you live, where I live 20-25sq metre to tile is avergae (you can get it lower) but in London I believe that would be very cheap. emoving tiles I thin is quite easy. I'm sure some tilers on here will let you know!
  • couldnt you save yourself some money by removing all the tiles?
