I am getting quotes to supply and install Combi Boiler and 7 Rads.
Property is ex local authority 3 bedroom. No previous heating is installed. Property is undergoing renovation, not decorated, no flooring etc.
Downstairs is concrete floor, upstair wooden. Boiler to be located in bedroom on outside wall. Gas pipe to be run from meter understairs to bedroom above.
3 Rads upstairs, 3 downstairs (will require 2 pipe drops in total)
Had a couple of quotes. Cheapest is 2250 for a Biasi, and others are £2600 for Viessman/Valliant/WB.
Is this reasonable?? As far as I can see the parts for the heating (Worcester Bosch are 1300. labour is therefore approx 1300 for 3-4 days work max.
What have other paid?

i would go for the viessman. make sure its 30 kw boiler. £2600 is cheap.
Do not forget that theres valves, pipework, roomstats, pipework, fittings to take into account.
Cost of van, insurance, Every 5 years acs assessments, fga costs and calibration. gas safe reg,
No holiday or sickness pay, it can go on and on.
You have been given a very good quote, ask British gas to quote on the job and you will see what shocked is.
If you go for the viessman get the weather compensator fitted, This will reduce the gas bill a bit more.0
