Rejecting PCN from Europcar PCN Admin Team!

Well they might wear this - and charge you the £30 admin fee every time the parking company approach them asking for the money.0

I suppose it depends how far you want to go with this - but you could cancel your credit card. Then Europcar would need to come after you for the money
Not sure that's 100% correct. IIRC for debts like these [same as hotels] the cc co just re-opens your cc account and then chases you for the money [bit like the continuous authority scams].
Can't recall what the name for hotel and car booking procedure is but its special as its to do with the fact that they can still charge you after you've checked out/returned the car.0 -

Thanks, it's a tough call. I really want to speak to Europcar with some strong factual info and get them to waive their right to debit my credit card -I can then argue over the NCP direct with the car park co.0 -

Looks pretty enforceable in this case. It will happen.
And they are not 'entirely unenforceable' in any case. Given sufficient evidence (which yes 99.99% of the time is unobtainable) they can be enforced.0 -
Dzrug - you're talking utter claptrap.
Dickie - this letter demonstrating LeasePlan's approach might be of use:

Not sure how you got the attached - but thanks very much, this looks very sensible.
I just hope when I speak to Europcar that they are not just going to hide behind their bland and in my opinion money grabbibg, unfair t&c's.
I'm off shortly to check the signage at the retail park before I call Europcar - don't hold out too much hope as Argos/Borders retail park, but wish to be armed with all the info!!0 -
They're hardly money grabbing, they just don't want any hassle. It's easier to take money off you and pass it on than it is for them to go to court. They obviously do not realise they cannot be taken to court, but then again they're probably a bit mentally challenged. Or maybe they just don't want the hassle of reading the letters. It does cost them man hours. Imagine if they had 1000 unpaid fines to deal with from these companies, they could get hundreds of letters a day.0

It's in Europcars interests as they get the £30 admin fee!0

Exactly.
No business worth its salt just pays any old invoice that arrives on its desk.
And being in the business of car hire means you have to deal with fines and these invoices. As if Europcars don't know about these scam invoices.
They're in on the scam, along with the government and the parking crooks.0
