This is an area I constantly struggle with, much to my annoyance! I have a close to useless OH and an equally useless male loger.

How do you manage to keep your bathroom ship shape?

What products do you use to clean it?

Do you use any homemade cleaning solutions?

It's a concentrated all purpose cleaner. It cleans most things so you only need one product instead of many.

If you live near an Iceland they should have the complete range of Stardrops products, if not it will depend on where you as to whether you can buy it.

Do a search for stardrop on this forum, you will find all the info you need.

well I dont use stardrops tho i am sure its great stuff.
my OH doesnt understand bathroom ettiquette either - like toilet lids should be kept down and towels dont dry well on the floor!
when brushing my teeth at night i tend to tidy bathroom before going to bed ie hanging towels if still clean on towel rail - putting bleach down loo - and i keep bathroom sponge under the sink so i can give it a quick wipe. jeez this makes my sound ocd - BUT i am just lazy! i find it makes life much easier and bathroom cleaning easier - then on tuesdays i do the big bathroom clean. and tend to just use a basin full of bleach and hot water a couple of disposable cloths and do the toilet basin taps and tiles. then i just use a bit of bar soap on upvc window ledges and frames. the windows get a clean with microfibre cloths and buffed with kitchen roll. takes me half hour. oh and the floor (cushionfloor) a quick mop with hot water and mop. every couple of months the shower curtain gets a soak in bio washing powder and a quick wash in machine. as to bits and bobs - I keep clutter in bathroom to an absolute minimum. the bath mats etc are all machine washable and get done when they look like they need it - bout once every six months! but i do admit to occasonally giving the cistern top and seat a quick wipe with dry toilet roll (how the hell do hairs get on them?).

We used to have the most horrible cluttered up
bathroom ever, its all changed now though

    second the Stardrops with three
useless men here its been really good
I also used their window cleaner in the
    spray bottle its brill.

I also keep a pack of those bathroom wipes
    handy to wipe round.

We now have a thing here they each have a
plastic tub/basket those ones that are 50p each, they
keep their essentials in them, shaving stuff, aftershave,
    shower/bath gel,toothpaste,brush hair stuff etc
it goes in the tub and if there is not enough room
they have to keep it in their room.
the baskets fit in a cupboard, they use what they need
and when they have finished everything goes back
in the basket, back in the cupboard

We now have a completely clutter free
bathroom if anyone had ever told me that
this would work I would have laughed.
They know now that If its left out it
gets binned, all told no more mess and now
they just do it without thinking.

getting rid of the things that crowd out your bathroom
    makes it look 50% better

Hi i use flash bathroom spray purely as i love the smell it leaves..really clean! in the bathroom we have 1 unit with 5 drawers, 4 have towels in and the other is the cloths for cleaning..we have a shelf with 2 baskets on and one is dh's and one mine! this holds all his deodorant and creams etc and my makeup and deodorant etc..we have some candles and a speaker for dh to plug his mp3 player into and that's it..looks very tidy most of the time but if not pretty quick to clean up!
I use a microfibre cloth to polish the tiles after spraying and rinsing as gives a good shine..i use one of those blue cheap j cloths to do the sink then loo then throw and use kitchen roll to dry as aleviates dust sticking quickly! mop the floor and bleach the loo whenever i feel it needs it!

I use mix of white vinegar, water & lemon juice in a bottle and spray every where (bath, toilet, sink, taps, shower, tile, glass and windows) put kettle on for coffee and make it go back to bathroom and using a dry cloth (or three) wipe everything down (use an old rag for toilet though) and use the cloth to clean down the light cord, done in a 10 minutes, the vinegar smell goes within minutes. This is my weekly clean

I use bleach down the loo.

Daily I just wipe it over to keep it clean, job done.

In the bathroom I have a pile of face clothes - for the purpose of dry hands (little bairns) we go through a fair few but the washing pile is less than with other towels as they tended to put them on the floor or use the bath sheets on the hanger.

But I would recommend stardrops - I use it on the sofa, floors, carpet spills (spot check though as some carpets colours can run). It is an essential item.

    Then I have my coffee

My dh always puts the seat down - quite funny when dd tries to sit on it although I may not find it as funny if she does actually wee when the lid is down!!!!

I also use star drops but I do have some anti bac wipes as a quick fix incase of unexpected visitors!!
