Storage heater or Oil filled electric radiator.

Hi

I have just moved into a flat that is on economy 7 electric.

The flat is currently heated by storage heaters, however i also own a couple of delonghi oil filed radiators.

Does anyone know if the storage or oil filled will use the most electric?

Thanks

The oil filled rads will cost more if you run them on peak. If you run them off E7 then they will cost the same as the storage heaters!
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

They will cost the same only if they are the same rating! Normally storage heaters have a much higher rating.

Storage heaters will be cheaper to run anyway as they heat up on cheap rate electricity.

There is hardly any point in waiting until the early hours of the morning to use the other heaters.

Well I was going to say that, but thought it would be stating the obvious. In terms of heat produced they will cost the same, assuming a similar efficiency.

I agree, it was stating the obvious, but given the OP's question;)
