Co-op Cheque Deposits: FREEPOST?

Hi,

I'm looking to pay in a cheque to my Co-op bank account through the post.

Their website quotes Blaise Pascal House in Northampton (post code NN4 7AR) as the address to send it to, but it's not freepost.

Smile, on the other hand, quote the following freepost address: smile, FREEPOST NEA 14877, Northampton, NN4 7BR

Can I send my cheques to the smile address, safe in the knowledge that they will reach my Co-op account? Or is there an alternative address I can use?

I think that the only people who can give you a definitive answer are the Co-op themselves. However I suspect that sending the cheque to smile will only cause problems.

I suspect they go to the same place, because I have some old postage paid envelopes for Smile which are for the Blaise Pascal house address, they still work!

If you pay your cheques in at a Post Office they will send them off for you, no charge.

You need a special envelope that the Coop will give you, but most POs will have the odd spare.

I ordered some pre addressed envelopes last week to pay cheques into my cashminder account.
