I had a buyer who purchased my item on ebay, he then proceeded to say he did not want it as he had won the saame item cheaper!!!!!!! I filed a report to ebay to say the buyer no longer wanted to complete the transaction. The buyer then proceeded to say he wanted to complete the auction just so I could not claim my final fee refund!!! It is now 2 weeks since this happened and the buyer has emailed me to say he has no intentions of paying so I can get stuffed. Ebay will not refund my fee as the buyer says he wants to complete so therfore ebay have closed the dispute. i have emailed ebay numerous times and proved the buyer will not pay but ebay say there is nothing they can do becaused all refunds are automated!!!!!!!!!!
This is so annoying and I really hope there is something I can do to get my fee refunded.
Is there some one higher I can email other than the muppets of customer support (says support with tongue in cheek)

Aren't you a Power Seller? There should be a number you can ring for Power Seller support. You'll still get a muppet but it's more likely to be Kermit the Frog than the Swedish Chefnatanddan1 wrote:Is there some one higher I can email other than the muppets of customer support (says support with tongue in cheek) Can I help?0 Can I help?0

Can you not start another dispute?
I can't believe that there's nothing you can do, because if it were true that NPB's could manipulate the system that easily, there would be no point in having NPB alerts in the first place.0

No you cannot start another dispute, I emailed ebay to say exactly what you have said and that if there is nothing that can be done then there is a massive loophole. All i got back was ' sorry but as refunds are automated then there is nothing that can be done'
In the end the only winner will be ebay who has obtains money for a transaction that never completed.0

There is nothing you can do. Next time DON'T do a mutual. You can never trust the buyer to do the process properly and what happened above is the result.0

I'm still not clear what you are actually saying here.
It sounds as if as far as ebay is concerned, the buyer intends to go ahead with the auction, so why can you not file an NPB if he doesn't pay?
If he's really shafted you like this, how about telling us the auction number concerned so we can see who this person is?All i got back was ' sorry but as refunds are automated then there is nothing that can be done'
Fleabay really are bunch of !!!!s, aren't they?0

If you did a mutual NPB then yes you are stuck, never ever do a mutual for this very reason.
If however you did a full NPB then assuming you were still in date only you can close the dispute and get your FVFs back, neither the buyer nor ebay can close it for you.
Unfortunately you cannot start a second NPB once the buyer has closed the mutual or the seller has closed the full NPB.
I can't warn enough about mutual NPBs so I will repeat myself. If a buyer makes a mistake in bidding or is out to scam why allow them to get away with it and do a mutual which they can refute? If they can't be trusted to bid properly why should we trust them to close the dispute properly.

Have you left feedback for him? Was it a high value item? If not I would let it go and put it down to experience. If it is I would look for another way but not hold my breath. The small claims court maybe?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

I know this might seem like a lot of trouble but if it was me I'd get a bank account (just for this purpose) and a throwaway e-mail account and when the buyer next sells anything bid it stupidly high and don't pay. Let him go through what you are.
But thats just me and I'm in no mood to be charitable to wasters like your buyer right now :heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with.
