Technically and graphically the xbox is a better machine - Yes
However if you but the arcade version your missing out on a hard drive you buy seperately so not as good a price.
What gets me is the Wii black is touted as a Limited Edition..Rubbish..it will be main stream before long. What ever happened to 1 of 250,5000 limited edition runs of things, then you knew they were limited. If 500,000 of one product is limited then most music single would be too

The real interesting thing is that last xmas, the Wii was retailing at £180, and you could shop around for offers down to say £160 (reputable outlets)

Now the Wii is selling for around £150, and comes with the Sports Resort bundle (incl Motion Plus) worth £30 - 40.

Now that is a real price reduction.

And yes, if you compare to the Xbox and PS3 it is less powerful etc, but it is more of a family entertaiment device, rather than hard-core gaming.
