    Hello and welcome.

This is now a normal procedure by the main of them.

However, not everyone completes them, for instance if your finance is still active they should still hold all your details anyway, or if you do complete the form, answer to the best of your knowledge and/or ask them to refer to your letter and the details they should still hold on you.

They must still comply by 8 weeks.;)

    Good luck.

    With pleasure.

You just write "I only recently became aware of the mis selling of the PPI since finding this out from the online media" this is fine.;)
    Good luck.

  • Hi, just a quick update,
I posted the questionaire back to welcome finance along with copies of other letters already sent to them, on the 5/11/09 , they signed for the delivery on the 7/11/09, now today 21/12/09 i have received a letter to say they never received the documents in question and are therefore closing the claim.... eventhough on the 19/11/09 they sent me a letter to say that they are still investigating the issues raised....
    Any suggestions ! please.....

I would copy the postal receipt from recorded delivery and copy the signed for 7/11/09 and state you want your complaint finalising immediately or you will have no option than to go to FOS and also make a complaint for not treating you fairly to the FSA. Don't forget to send by recorded delivery again.

    Good luck

  • :jHi all, after sending all 3 template letters to welcome car finance , the last one giving them 14 days from the 20th of january 2010 to give a final answer, I have today had a letter stating that although they do not agree with our assertions , they are as a gesture of goodwill going to refund the full PPI plus associated interest + 8 %, in full and final settlement of the matter..........yip pee
    A WHOPPING £3807.89...
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A HUGE THANKYOU TO di3004 for her advice, and to anybody else claiming do not give up!:T
