Sainsbury's refused me credit?! Why?

Not proud of having them think he laundered the money, but from my point of view he has laundered it. Okay, he hasn't used credit, bought stuff and immediately sold them on for cash, but he has over a longer period of time and is now stashing the cash and declaring bankruptcy.
Although it may seem from other threads that I've condoned his bankruptcy and debts, I haven't. I was absolutely mortified and angry that he had racked up all that debt and had no intention of paying it back, but at the time I loved him and regarded it my duty to support him aside from what mess he'd got himself into.
I'm going to write to Sainsbury's as there's no phone number on the letter and I've also ordered a credit report from Equifax, which might shed some light on this. I'm now completed on my house and have the keys, but I've not yet moved out of my rented (I keep putting it off cos the house is such a mess!)0
