Did you pay the insurance by insyalments, thus having credit with the insurance company? Otherwise they are being pretty cheeky financialy linking you for insurance.

This does not write off the debt (IE not having a signed agreement) in all circumstances. But in any dispute it is 'the' place to start.

No it was all paid in one lump at the start! I can only assume it was down to that as I can't think of anything else where we had both our names on the same form even though she was only a named driver!0
