Thanks for all the suggestions, I will try and go round a few this weekend.
One idea I have been thinking of is of getting married in a village church and hiring the church hall. I don't know much of Birmingham outside the bus routes ! so any suggestions would be really helpful.0 -

My brother had his reception at Hillscourt conference centre. No idea of price though, sorry, although he's not usually a big spender!
