Getting my car re-sprayed

Hey guys, something i have been looking into, my car got severely vandalised about 6 months ago, scratching one side of my car a number of times.

Anyway, i tried to fix it my self but ended up making it worse. But to my question.

I have a Fiat Brava SX 1.4 in Forest Blue, how much would i be looking at to get the car completely resprayed and does anyone have any ideas to get it cheaper.

In case it helps i live in Preston.

Anywhere between £300 and £1000 depending on who you go to. I tend to use mid range back street style places in the middle price range, though more lately I've decided that cheap and cheerful is good enough. If a car passes the "looks good from over 1m away" test then that's good enough for me.

Ask at your local independent car sales garages - find out who does their paintwork.

Then you'll find the 'trade' bodyshop will be MUCH more keen to do the job, rather than the bigger places, that only really want insurance work.
