Zyxel routers any good?

Hi there

The ISP Iam thinking of moving to sends out the Zyxel P-660HW-T1v2 wireless router. Are Zyxel routers any good, will this one be ok to play xbox live with. Many thanks

i have a zyxel had it couple of years very easy to set up would have one again!
i have laptop and wii works fine

Using them for years. Bottom of the range but they're better than most of the rubbish wireless routers most of the ISPs are giving out (Think Speedtouch white/blue ones, Orange "triangle" routers, and those BT routers (which with every model, the default system reset button gets bigger)).

Plus it'll keep on working if you change ISP.

PS I've got a Speedtouch 500 series as recommended by Zen, and it's been faultless, very stable, and gets good reviews. Only thing which is poor is the web interface, but once setup, it's not often needed. This I suspect is very different to the cheapo bundled ones.

Zen apparently (according to their staff) had less issues with this router, than others, even top end Drayteks (which I did want to use), so make it their recommendation, and seeing as they've just won another Best ISP award this year, in IMO they are worth listening to. A Netgear one I used to use, was utterly useless dropped the connection every few days, I've not tried Belkin or Zyxel.

There have been reports about chipsets having issues with ADSL in general, I think that was Netgear and some others, well worth a good and read of the BBB forums.
