Quick question ,how many days after a bounced direct debit can it be claimed for again ? Thanks

    Direct debits go through the BACs system which means that it is three working days for the company to be informed of the reversal, ie say it was bounced today, then they will find out on Wednesday and could ask for it again meaning Friday is when it would be represented at the earliest. To be honest, if there are insufficient funds I would cancel it and then pay it by other means before reinstating it.
