Help please hardship refused

Hi all i wrote a letter on behalf of my husband to halifax for bank charges..
however previous to this my husband had wrote a letter about 1 certain bank charge saying he was in financial difficulty and if possible could they please give him this back. we got a letter stating that they belive they charged correctly but as a guesture of good will and becuase of financial difficulty they would refund him his last 2 bank charges ..
So i copied the template letter from this site along with saying well if you can refund us the last 2 bank charges could you please give us all other bank charges back etc

today ive recieved a reply saying along the lines of ..we belive that your complaint concerns the level fairness or lawfullness of the fees.
so until the determination of the legal issues in the above proceedings we have asked the financial services to suspent the normal timetable for dealing with unaranged overdraft bank fee complaints and the fsa has agreed to this request sunject to the conditions that protect your rights.
similarly you should be aware that if you choose to issie a claim in the courts the bank will immediatly apply to the court for an order to stay your action until the resolution etc etc

sorry for poor punctuation and spelling im trying to juggle a wriggly baby and a laptop at the same time lol

where do i go from here then should i just accept that i have to wait until the bank is finished with the courts or what any help advice and info greatly appreciated

Do you still use the account where the charges are coming from as your main account?
Are any of the arrears being paid off?
Have you cancelled all non essential direct debits?
