I did my shopping and as this site suggested I downgraded to all the value ranges, I was spending on average £60 + per week on shopping. However I got it down to £39. I thought this was good. However I then went onto Mysupermarket.com and the site saved me another £12, it got me down to £27 plus a fiver for delivery. But to be honest it would have cost me a fiver in petrol anyway so money and time well spent, I will always use Mysupermarket.com now.
In addition, I was in debt and my finances are a bit out of control because I hadnt kept in control of what Im spending. Thats another story. But to be honest I am starting to feel in control again, now that I have a budget.
I know how much I need to have in my account to pay the bills, what date bills are due and I now, never have that fear that a card payment will fail because I know how much is in the account. Feeling more in control as a result.
I also went onto the Breakdown cover and read the section about breakdown cover, to be honest the providers were not suitable for me but it made me explore other providers and I cut the cost nearly in half. I now only pay £7 a month to greenflag instead of £13.08 I paid to the AA.
Not to be deterred, I went onto the insurance section and I hunted like Id never hunted before. I was with Direct Line for Pet Insurance and paid £27 per month. Ive now got it down to £12 with Argos Pet Insurance.
Im going to explore this site as much as possible. Theres a massive amount of information that I feel can really help me.
