Am trying to but the site is not doing very much, gets so far into loading then says there's an error. Was going to use this to get to uni for the next two days cos it'll save me 7 or 8 quid

I don't think there is much anyone can do with so little information.

    What error?
    Travelling from where to where?
    Dates?
    Times?

Have you reported the problem to Southern Railway?

When I tried the site wouldn't load. I suspect it may have been something to do with uni earlier.

But, since being home I've managed to book my tickets for this week for a fiver (home to uni return x2) and will be doing so until the offer ends, as it's goingto save me about 40 quid!)

No, I don't have one. It wouldn't be worth it as it won't give me discount on such a low fare

It will give you a discount on that fare... re-read post #5.

Besides, these low low fares only last until 15 December, after which the railcard saving will be more worthwhile.

Not really worth paying it out when I'll be driving in 6 months. Pretty pointless buying what I'll barely use. And the fares work out to £18, with one peak fare, so it feels like a lot of hassle for nothing (am a mature student, so form has to be stamped and signed before it's sorted) is ofno use to me, as im forced teetotal

Also, before you use it, check your local machine can print the tickets. As I did this, went to get my tickets, and was told Southern and South West have a problem with printing Southern tickets from a SW machine. Went to my local Southern station, still no joy. So now I have to apply postal for a refund, and am NOT happy
