Removing body spray film from furniture

Grandaughter stayed for a few days last week and sprayed her body spray and deodorant in the bedroom. She did it whilst standing next to the bedside table and it's left a film on my brand new oak furniture. The furniture has a smooth, silky-to-the-touch finish, but where she's sprayed you can feel this layer of spray. It's solid oak which has been waxed and then there's a lacquer finish.

Any ideas how I can get this off without spoiling the finish on the furniture?

Needless to say she's been told that next time all sprays are to be used in the bathroom only!
