I did not mean to suggest the farm, the people, the district were "at fault" - just that her incessant moaning and well publicised financial woes would not put her in a strong position to sell at a good - or even reasonable price.

I still don't think I'll be able to afford it. who knows though, I can't remember what she paid for it. she will certaily have had more equity than us from her london place (probably double our deposit!). Oh well....I feel very laid back about it all atm..

As regards Liz, I really do this morning, feel very sorry for her, her wildest of dreams could come true, she could meet, for example a fashion designing prince who loves to live with OCD eaters and cat lovers and pay for people to wash horses tails in shampoo made from hold rose hips and the breath of a new born lamb, and she'd find it in herself to be sad because he was blond not dark haired....she'll never be happy and its not to do with circumstances.

I've looked that postcode up, and followed the lane about with streetview (very country lane). A few farms along there, including a massive one. It's difficult to lock down which could be the Liz Jones farm though.

There is an Middle Upcott Farm Bed and Breakfast (website) and corresponding streetview, so Liz Jones place must be around there Lir, if you could see yourself running a farm or similar in that area. Google map satellite overview.

She is interest only though, isn't she ?

She also paid a small fortune to a company to find it for her. Mind you she got the money back on that as she wrote a couple of articles complaining about them.
