Hi,

I am thinking to by this Philips PC, can anyone tell me if the spec of this is good and if thiers any cheaper ones around.

    that actually seems pretty decent specs for that price, although I've just noticed that there's no monitor with it, so thats £150 on top.

    about all I'd say about the philips you posted, would be that if you were buying it as a gaming machine, you should seriously consider a gf card upgrade for it, otherwise looks good.

    in reply to Q about dells, they're fine for the casual user who never intends to 'get their hands dirty', and upgrade the comp further down the line.
    I hate working on them full stop personally.
    even doing something seemingly straight forward can be a pain in the !!!.
