Norton SystemWorks 2006 Basic Edition ... worth having?

Options
Norton have recently released SystemWorks 2006 Basic Edition (without Norton AntiVirus) and I wondered what people thought of this package.
I know from quite a few threads on here that many people dont like Norton AntiVirus as its a resource hog and difficult to uninstall. I dont use it myself.

SystemWorks 2006 Basic has four components: Norton Utilities, Norton GoBack, CheckIt Diagnostics and System Optimiser.

The July copy of PC Advisor gives it a good review ending with '...its a good idea to opt for a package such as this that fills in the gaps left by free products'. Really? Are there no free products that cover all these areas? I know CCleaner is popular here and would cover some of the areas but what about the rest? And is SystemWorks a resource hog like Norton AntiVirus?

Has anyone used SystemWorks and what do you think of it. Is this version without the antivirus software worth buying (about £30 I believe).

Thanks
