Hello,
Do banks accept online printed phone bills as proof of address, when opening new bank accounts.
I just went for a 12 month contract (with reduced bill ) with bt. BT stated that they will knock of 1.25 of the phone bill if i go for a paperless online billing.
was not sure which subforum to place the question in

Best solution... ring your bank using the inclusive 0845 and 0870 (assuming the number is either of these) and find out??0

Generally they do not accept these0

I don't have any paper bills, and so far no-one has accepted printed versions. However my driving licence and/or medical card are usually sufficient for proof of address.0

I'm pretty sure they're not accepted. It's one of the reasons why I've retained some paper billing.Stompa0

This is becoming more and more of a problem, with all the idiotic rules.
The only bills I get on paper now are my water (6 monthly) & Council Tax (annually) - only last week The Chelsea BS finally agreed to accept my Council Tax bill, as long as it was for this financial year !0
