Still working through the paperwork tasks. When I've tidies I swear it will never get in that state again, but somehow it creeps up on me.
Oh the joys of longer days. Light in the morning and light when its time to go home from work. And a wee bit of sunshine and blue skies between the showers. I put towels out on the line yesterday but then it started to pour. Opened the curtains this morning and said towels are lying all over the lawn, so will need rewashed......Grrrr.
Off to spinning group today. Haven't been for a while cos of overtime at work and having to catch up on my studies. But one lady is wanting some long circular needles which I might have and have to look out.
Main task today is to find the dratted Orange contracts to see if there is any saving to be made there. Switched energy supplier through Top Cashback yesterday. Have cut DD by over £8.00 and will get £10.50 cashback.
Need a top up shop and should just manage to stay within my £50.00 budget for the week,

Well, having a bit of a pyjama day today as it is blowing a hoolie out there and it was a long week at work. Saw the forecast so went shopping after work last night. Bought quite a few reduced items which will take me into meals next week and still within my weekly budget - woohoo! The meal planning and budgeting meant quite a few NSDs.
Asked at work yesterday if I will accompany some students to Stornoway week after next for an awards ceremony. Flying over and only one night's stay, but there should still be time for a visit to Mr T and also get a couple of clothing items that I need. The Internet is great, but a bit hit and miss for clothing and shoes.
Picked up another useful tip - thank the Lord for this site. I was going to make fixed payments on the cards, but have now decided to open a new cash ISA in April, set the DDs to minimum payments and put the extras into the ISA to accumulate and pay in when the 0% deals are coming to an end. I am hoping to have most of it, if not all, paid off.
DS has just asked if he can a lift to a friend's, so my plan for not venturing out the door is out the window, so to speak! Don't mind really. Buses are few and far between, and he's a good lad - doesn't ask for much. Then it's back home to tackle some housework and get on with the latest module of my AAT course.

Well, the budget has been well and truly blown this month, one way or another. There was my wee trip to Stornoway and DS is away to the mainland for a week and an applicant's day at the unit he's been accepted for.
Plus a long overdue ladies lunch, leaving gift contribution and a work night out. Hey ho. Thank goodness we've a wee pay rise next month and there's the new tax allowance.
I've kept my Tesco CC as my fallback card, with a DD set up to pay the statement balance. Just checked and they haven't taken the payment for March. Checked my bank account and the DD is still set up, so I'm not sure what went on there.
Will phone tomorrow. I've had no problems with them before and am wondering if it's something to do with transferring my balance to another card, but why would that be an issue? We shall see.
