Hi Kelinik; thanks for the welcome! Could you please let me know the name of the book anyway, he is a very mature seven year old - just don't want anything with too graphic pictures more than anything else! He is already aware of what the womb and placenta do; I haven't used non-technical terms with him as he likes things to be told straight!

Just don't want him necessarily worrying about the pain of childbirth, really!

Its this one. I got it after reading the reviews and decided to let her have it about a year ago I think, lots of interesting dinner time conversations after that LOL! I've bought the follow up one too but haven't given it to her yet.

  • Esio trot - thanks for the info you found. I did exactly the same thing last night. I know you are not supposed to find out medical info on the net as everyone is different but sometimes it does help to have more information.

When you are at the hosp things dont actually come into your mind to ask and its only when you get home you think of things and then start worrying.

    Welcome bonty44 :-)

    xx

Hi, that's reassuring as I have my glucose test on Monday and really, really don't want to end up being induced should it turn out I do have gestational diabetes!

Good luck for the birth. :)

  • Hey ladies

Didn't make it out today, too cold :o Deffo need to go out tomorrow though as I need some stuff for my labour bag.

CAFCGirl - hope you're feeling better now

Som - hope you made it to work in one piece

Yay for PP! Boo for rubbish labour :(

LL - I was so sad to read your news, hope you're OK

nikkit - I wouldn't say RLT is disgusting but I definately enjoy the 1st 2/3rds more than the last, it feels like a chore to finish the whole cup. Maybe you could try the capsules instead?

    Welcome bonty44 and floralaura

    afternoon all

im making choccie brownies today after my chocolate muffins yesterday....

and we've got a viewing for a house on monday as well, yay! i really REALLY want to move now

YAY :) I hope you love it L(

My mam is trying to sell her house, she has had two viewings since New years eve, she had one yesterday but someone else in the street has their house for sale and they are going to put an offer in on the other house, the estate agent said it was because she couldnt afford mam's (mams is 5k more but doesnt need a new bathroom or kitchen whereas the other one does) I said to mam dont worry it will sell, the woman is probably offering even less than asking price which makes it even cheaper than mams

So mam mentioned to the girl today dont worry if she needed mam out to move in (cos her flat has sold) she has a son and a daughter she can live with till she buys a new house

Now I paniced, I have been panicing for a while, although we have a 3 bedroom house I dont really have room to have mam live esp with babybean on the way

Well my brother rang me today and he was talking about it and he wants her to live there with him and his wife YAY lol not that I dont want my mam here cos I do love her obv but we haven't room, and I would like just us and beany together, it will be easier for mam to get to work from my brothers as well which is great

So everything seems to be falling into place now :)

Welcome Bonty, sorry I cant help with a book
